Montane has long recognised the benefits of dual layer, wicking windshell jackets. This concept, used for over 15 years in garments from the Extreme Smock to the Krypton Jacket, is taken to new levels of weight and performance in the Reactor GL Jacket.

Features

• PERTEX Quantum GL outer is an ultra lightweight, windproof and breathable fabric that is rustle free with an exceptional durable water repellency
• DRYACTIV Mesh brushed liner wicks moisture to the outside and is comfortable against the skin
• Articulated arms for reach high movement and tailored specifically to reduce hem lift
• Soft fleece beardguard around neck for extra comfort
• Two deep mesh lined hand-warmer pockets positioned well clear of backpack or climbing harness belt
• Chest pocket for handy essentials in the mountains
• Full length, reversed and baffled YKK front zip
• Low bulk and profile elasticated cuffs which can be pulled up forearms to aid cooling
• Adjustable hem and collar to prevent weather entry and heat loss
• MONTANE stuff sac perfect for storage

• As with all MONTANE clothing PERTEX fabric contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier to keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this
• Machine wash in warm water at 40C/104F with a mild soap. MONTANE recommends that you use Nikwax Tech Wash
• DO NOT use fabric softeners or bleach. Drip dry.
• It may be required every 6 months or so to reproof the garment to restore its water repellency. MONTANE recommends Nikwax TX Direct
